Ford’s Mustang has been unveiled in its seventh-generation guise with an aggressive redesign and updated Coyote V8. With rivals opting to leave the V8 behind, Ford is sticking to the traditional pony car formula for its all-new S650 Mustang GT. The 5.0L unit is expected to develop 480 hp and more than 420 lb-ft of torque. The increase in power is thanks to a new dual throttle body design, exhaust manifold and revised camshaft. The GT model will come with the option of a six-speed manual transmission that now features rev-matching and a 10-speed automatic.
