The Focus ST Edition sharpens up Ford’s middleweight hot hatch with chassis and suspension modifications. Following in the footsteps of the excellent Fiesta ST Edition , the Focus ST aims to better compete with the fierce hot hatch competition since there will be no RS model this time around the ST has all the work to do.
New adjustable coilovers have been fitted that allow for a ride height reduction of between 10 to 20mm and feature 12 different settings for compression and 15 for rebound. New 19-inch flow-formed alloy wheels have been fitted which are 10 percent lighter and wrapped with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S rubber for extra grip. The powertrain remains unchanged with 276 hp and 310 lb-ft of torque available from the 2.3L turbocharged inline 4 engine.
