Jaguar are celebrating 70 years of producing sports cars with the F-Type ‘Chequered Flag’ special edition, available for both the entry level 4 cylinder and supercharged V6 models. The Chequered Flag F-Types are based off the coupe and convertible R-Dynamic models equipped with automatic transmissions and the same amount of power as before.
All the changes take place in form of suspension recalibration and subtle aesthetic tweaks. The comfort mode on the adaptive dampers will now provide a smoother ride at lower speeds, for the 20-inch wheels that come standard. The colour choices are limited to just three, with Caldera Red, Fuji White and Carpathian Grey all matched to a black roof. The interior also receives a few splashes of colour and minor infotainment upgrades.
