Hyundai are spinning off their Genesis luxury car into it’s own brand, and first off the ranks is the all-new G90 sedan. Set to take on the big guns in the luxury car sector like the BMW 7-Series, Mercedes S-Class and Lexus LS, the G90 certainly has a lot to prove.
Buyers will have the choice of either a 265 hp 3.3L V6 or a more powerful 420 hp 5.0L V8, with both engine options available in rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive configurations. The V8 model will propel the G90 from 0-60 mph in 5.3 seconds and onwards to a limited top speed of 148 mph. For those thinking of taking the large luxury car down the drag strip, the G90 should be comfortable doing a 13.8 second quarter mile run at 105 mph.
