New kid on the block Genesis Magma Racing is ready to tackle both the WEC and IMSA in the LMDh Hypercar class. The new team will be headed by Cyril Abiteboul, with André Lotterer taking on development and Luis ‘Pipo’ Derani the racing duties. Called the GMR-001, it will compete in the top level LMDh (Le Mans Daytona h) category, and feature a turbocharged V8 engine in a hybrid setup that should deliver somewhere around the 670 hp mark.
