The XT line for Subaru’s Forester came equipped with a 2.5L inline 4 turbocharged engine just like the sporty Impreza WRX. This meant the all-wheel drive family hauler SUV was capable of providing a bit of fun and enjoyment for the driver. Peak power came in at 226 hp with 236 lb-ft of torque, which helped propel the Forester XT from 0-62mph in 7.9 seconds.
