Audi have revealed their bold new Nuvolari supercar, a limited-edition hybrid coupe that’s a close cousin to the Lamborghini Temerario. Taking its styling cues from the C Concept car shown off last year, the Nuvolari will be sure to divide opinions with a brutalist design aesthetic. The quick turnaround from concept to near production ready is all part of Audis ‘think faster, act bolder’ philosophy that has seen the Nuvolari get to this stage in just 405 days since the initial idea was born.
Built upon the aluminium spaceframe chassis and petrol-electric powertrain of the Temerario , the Nuvolari producing a bit more power with 987 hp from the 4.0L twin turbo V8 engine and three electric motors. It will do 0 to 62 mph in 2.6 seconds, 0 to 1242 mph in 6.8 seconds and go on to a top speed of over 217 mph.
