Porsche Australia is 75 years old, and their celebrations have included a one-off 911 Turbo S featuring colour-shifting paint. Dubbed the Porsche 911 Turbo S Land Down Under, it has been “inspired by the country’s expansive landscapes, dramatic contrasts, and the distinct character of the southern sky.” With over 300 hours of labour involved the special paint finish is comprised of a detailed gradient effect that is meant to be reminiscent of an outback sunset. The colour-shifts between desert orange, dusk-sky blue, eucalyptus green and sunrise gold depending on the angle as viewed, a very striking effect.
