Lamborghini Temerario GT3 has been revealed, the very first race car derived from the Temerario. This is the first competition model from Lamborghini to be designed and built entirely in-house at Lamborghini’s Sant’Agata Bolognese facility. It will replace the Huracan GT3 Evo 2 as the brand’s factory-backed GT3 offering, and is a result of collaboration between Squadra Corse and the team at Lamborghini Centro Stile.
The hybrid V8 powertrain from the road going Temerario has been changed due to GT3 rules, with the electric components being removed leaving only the twin turbo V8. Power is limited to the 550 hp mark, the turbochargers has been swapped with new smaller turbochargers, the eight-speed dual-clutch transmission is gone, with a six-speed transverse gearbox in its place.
