BMW has applied the CS treatment to the M2 creating the most powerful rear-wheel drive car in their lineup. It all starts with an uprated engine that now produces 523 hp and 479 lb-ft of torque thanks to a pair of mono-scroll turbochargers. Other upgrades include a sleeve-free, closed-deck crankcase and a forged crank, variable valve and camshaft timing, and a 350-bar injection system. Only an automatic transmission will be on offer with an eight-speed M Steptronic torque converter the chosen unit.
