Acura’s sleek Nexera concept car previews the brand’s new design language and has a few tricks up its sleeve. Designed as a low-slung supercar, the Nexera gives us a good look at the styling cues Acura will be using for their next generation of cars starting with the RDX hybrid in 2028. Looking beyond the supercars package, the styling features smooth and clean surfacing with subtle curves and some sharp detailing. being a concept car, Acura have thrown in some party pieces with what they are calling “phantom lighting.” When the lights are turned off it looks as if there are no light clusters at all, just continuous bodywork. Once the lights come to life, they glow through the bodywork as if they have just been painted onto the surface. Very cool.
