Alpina founder launches new Bovensiepen brand with its first model a Zagato-styled super GT coupe. With BMW now the owner of Alpina, the Bovensiepen family have shifted their focus on becoming “a manufacturer of outstanding automobiles that embody the ambition of fine driving”. This has resulted in a new coachbuilding outfit bearing the family name, with their first car simply called the Zagato.
Based on a BMW M4, the Zagato features bespoke styling front and rear with just a hint of M4 underneath on the side profile with the doors. Production will be limited of course with the time taken to build the Zagato clocking in at over 250 hours.
