Ultimate edition Aston Martin DBS revealed as the most powerful Aston road car yet. 759 hp and 664 lb-ft of torque are the numbers, 44 hp more than the previously most powerful Aston road car, the DBS Superlegerra . The extra power is made possible with an upgraded ignition system, modified air intake and a seven percent increase in boost pressure from the two turbochargers forcing air down the 5.2L V12 engine. The torque figure has remained the same for the sake of the ZF eight-speed auto not munching itself.
With a stiffer body and more engaging steering response, the DBS 770 Ultimate has tweaks to the adaptive damper system, torsional rigidity and software tuned to improve body control and high speed composure. The exterior gets lots of carbon fiber and the interior is covered with leather and Alcantara. Only 499 examples will be built with all already sold before the cars official launch.
