Mazda have shown off a new rotary hybrid powertrain in their Iconic SP Concept. Using a twin-rotor rotary engine that can run on either hydrogen, carbon-neutral fuels or regular gasoline and an electric motor, the Iconic SP sure does have a unique powertrain setup. Details are still minimal at this point, but Mazda are claiming a combined output of 364 hp in a package weighing just over 3,000 lbs.
