New X-Pro off-road model has been revealed for the Kia Sportage, bringing more capabilities to the compact SUV. Both wider and longer than previously, the new Sportage shares the same 2.5L inline 4 naturally aspirated engine as the Hyundai Tucson. Whilst only producing 187 hp, it is coupled with an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive for the X-Pro. A hybrid powertrain is expected in the near future, but no details are available on it’s capabilities yet.
