Alpine join the race to the top, taking part in the 2023 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb with a modified A110. As expected, the road going A110 has undergone a few changes to tackle the 156 turn, 12.42-mile-long trek to the 4,720 feet high summit. Fitted with a large front splitter, big rear wing, aggressive rear diffuser and roof mounted air intake, the A110 Pikes Peak certainly looks the part.
Power from the 1.8L turbocharged inline 4 engine has been uprated from 296 hp in the regular version to a healthy 500 hp. Peak torque is unknown along with the other usual performance figures, but you can be sure this A110 will be the fastest one to date with only 950 kilograms of weight to lug up the big hill.
