
Modelled after the original Baja Boot from 1967 that Steve McQueen raced in the Baja 1000 is the new, modern Boot by SCG (Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus). Available in two specs, the Boot comes as either a regular version or the full race version which is designed to actually race in the Baja 1000 like the original. Both are designed to be very capable all-terrain vehicles and even road legal in the USA.
Two engine options are also offered, with a standard 5.0L LT1 V8 producing 460 hp, and a bigger 6.2L LT4 supercharged V8 producing 650 hp. The suspension is independent for all four wheels with 19-inches of travel and Fox Coil over 3″ internal bypass shocks on each corner. 17-inch wheels by Method are fitted with 37 inch BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain tires with the option of upgrading to larger 39-inch tires and upgraded front and rear ARB Locking Differential.
