Ram 1500 TRX pickup boasts 702 horsepower of Hellcat V8 power. Set to take on the Ford F-150 Raptor, Ram have raided the Dodge parts bin, found themselves some sweet Hellcat supercharged V8’s and created a proper performance pickup.
Producing 712 PS (523 kW) of power and 650 lb-ft (952 Nm) of torque, the TRX will accelerate from 0-60 mph in 4.5 seconds and go on to a stop speed of 118 mph. Those are numbers which stack up well against the Raptor, with the TRX boasting more power, torque and a faster 0-60 time. The gearbox is a ZF 8-speed automatic, which sends power to all four wheels through a a BorgWarner 48-13 transfer case with a low range of 2.64:1. The track width of the TRX has been widened over the regular 1500 with 8 inches more width helping to fill those flared arches.
