An all new hyper car has hit town with the unveiling of the Naran Hyper Coupe, forgoing the usual electric powertrain we commonly see from startups in favour of a good ole V8. Going down the internal combustion engine route has not meant skimping on power, as the Naran boasts a power output of 1,048 hp with 1,036 Nm of torque. Very impressive numbers thanks to a 5.0L twin turbocharged V8 engine built by Racing Dynamics and mid-mounted behind the front axle.
Acceleration claims will make it very brisk indeed with 0-60 mph all over in 2.3 seconds, 0-100 mph done in only 4.5 seconds, and a top speed reaching over 230 mph. Drive is sent to all four wheels with the capability of selecting a rear-wheel drive only mode. The design and aero dynamics of the Naran have been inspired by GT3 race cars with a peak downforce figure of 1,377 kg even eclipsing that of a GT3 car.
