The newest car in the Lotus line-up is preparing to go racing with the Emira GT4 concept getting ready for 2022. It will replace the outgoing Evora GT4, and has been co developed with RML Group, a UK based firm with success in touring cars, rally and GT racing.
Transforming the Emira into GT4 spec has seen the kerb weight drop by 140 kilograms thanks to the removal of sound deadening and inclusion of light weight materials. The bodywork has remained largely unchanged with a new hood, larger rear wing, bigger front splitter and revised front side intakes making up the bulk of the visual changes.
