The Hispano Suiza Carmen Boulogne represents the next stage of the electric coupe’s journey, shedding weight and adding power. Hispano Suiza has been a long lost name in the automotive world, after they stopped building race cars in the 1920’s. Now the company has been reborn with the Carmen, a powerful carbon-fiber electric grand tourer.
Built in conjunction with QEV technologies, who have experience in WRC, WTCC and Formula E, the Carmen Boulogne now boasts 1,099 hp in total which is an increase of 94 hp. The top speed has been upped to 180 mph, and the 0-60 mph acceleration time has been reduced to 2.6 seconds. Weight has also been shaved off with 60 kilograms less to carry around.
