First revealed as a concept model at the 2012 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, the ninth generation Accord was available in both coupe and sedan variants with different engine sizes ranging from a 2.0L inline 4 to a 3.5L V6.
For the 2014 model year, the Accord sedan was offered with a plug-in hybrid power train. Combining a 6.7 kWh battery pack and 124 kW electric motor with 2.0L 4-cylinder. The Accord Hybrid was discontinued in June 2015.
