Unveiled at the 2010 Paris Motor Show, the SA Aperta is the convertible version of the 599. Only available as a limited edition in just 80 examples, the Aperta was made to honour designers Sergio Pininfarina and Andrea Pininfarina, for the 80th anniversary of Pininfarina.
The mechanicals were brought over from the extreme 599 GTO, making this much more powerful than the original coupe. The roof was just a light soft top, designed only to used when weather got bad, and it was really needed.
